The last Regional conference of the International Association of Facilitators took place in the beautiful Yasuragi spa resort, near Stockholm, and this was a blessing for all participants. I have enjoyed the Japanese’s traditional baths, morning yoga classes and relaxing beverages that were served during the breakouts.
IAF conferences are normally very practically oriented, with excellent practitioners’ sessions where we can take advantage of our peers in well-designed adult learning experiences. In this last meeting, we had the chance to listen to good keynote speakers, such as Richard Barret, that spoke about personal entropy. Richard talked about this fear-driven energy that is a proxy measure for the lack of personal mastery skills.
