Small group discussion
If you aim to have participants involved in group discussions that generate consensus around key issues, this is the ideal meeting format. Each group can be assigned the same parallel task or a sequential one. Within this configuration participants can then concentrate on focused and lively discussions that address varied perspectives surrounding a separate distinctive issue.
Hardly any issue is left untouched as group dynamics allow for sufficient variety in each group to be addressed and cover a fair amount of diversity. Later on, all groups convene into a large group conference where small group results are compared. In this later stage, small group summaries are all typed in the same shared screen and discussed in a larger group exercise.
