GDSS facilitation training
We provide GDSS (group decision support software) facilitation training bundled with the software license you need to master virtual facilitation.
A Group Decision Support System (GDSS) is an interactive, computer-based system that helps a team of decision-makers solve problems and make choices. GDSS are targeted to supporting groups in analyzing problem situations and in performing group decision-making tasks.
In a GDSS virtual or hybrid room, each participant has access to a suite of software tools in a laptop computer or internet device to cooperatively brainstorm ideas and register individual input throughout the duration of the meeting.
This can be effective in meetings where participants are all part of the same organization and can apply their own well established in-house methods or meeting protocols to this new virtual collaborative working environment.
We also can use GDSS in mixed public meetings or workshops where participants from different organizations are rapidly trained in the use of the system and a swift transition can be made to effectively handle a new style of group interaction which is computer-assisted.
Meeting results can be instantly printed at the end of the meeting and published on the web or e-mailed to each participant.
