Hotels can contribute to the meeting industry much more than by just being a venue provider. I do not mean “just” to imply that venues are not important. We all know, and the latest research shows that a meeting location can have a decisive impact on the results of a meeting, especially those intangible ones. However, hotels can augment their contribution to the success of a meeting by offering value added services to every customer that contacts them to hire meeting space. These services can include a full comprehensive pack that extends the customary tasks of meeting management to include other more sophisticated ones much closer to the heart of meeting design and can also include group facilitation.
