groupVision was founded in the early 90's to enable computer supported collaboration in face-to-face meetings, training or education whether people are in the same room or located around the world.

Since 1997, the company became an authorised SMART distributor and groupVision Consulting is a specialised company designed and created from inception to service SMART Technologies' marketing and sales distribution in the Iberian Peninsula. The company benefits from being part of an entrepreneurial group that has a long tradition and expertise in selling software tools that help groups access and share the information they need to meet, teach, train and present.

In the Iberian Peninsula, groupVision's main business focus is the value-chain management of SMART Technologies’ groupware solutions, which include award-winning SMART Board interactive whiteboard and other group collaboration tools. Notes written on the SMART Board can be saved to a computer file for future reference or easily shared electronically. Meeting or classroom participants can press on the board's touch-sensitive surface to control any computer application or multimedia material, such as a CD-ROM or the Internet.

SMART Technologies products are sourced through authorized resellers and business partners throughout the Iberian Peninsula. These channel partners are supported by MundoSMART.com, an online resource centre with  an e-commerce application for order processing.

Our company has developed a series of local on-line communities in Spain and Portugal, AprenderconSMART.org, AprendercomSMART.org, SMARTekinikasi.org and AprendreambSMART.org with moodle, a popular environment for e-learning.  

groupVision also administers Aulasconsoftware.com an on-line store for educators, teachers and school administrators. This web site has an associated social network that provides news, practical tips and information to help increase the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of teaching with software tools.

2009 Launch of new online e-commerce platform and purchase of a new technical services facilities in Parque Empresarial Advance in Coslada a strategic location for Iberian logistics, nicely located close to Madrid's Airport.

2008 Aulas con Software's edition features a cycle of seminars in Madrid, Santiago de Compostela and Barcelona, where we launched Aula Siglo XXI an experimental space that creates an environment of visual, auditory and interactive learning ICT.
