Our office in Lisbon began its activity in 1995. The company started as distributor of GroupSystems™, Xerox LiveBoard™ and Inspiration™, a recognised leader in visual thinking and learning. In 1996 groupVision was appointed SMART Technologies international distributor in Portugal.

In 1999, the company opened its new office in Madrid, expanding the area of influence of SMART Technologies to the whole Iberian Peninsula. The first "SMART Academy" resellers' meeting was organized in 2001.

The MundoSMART.com initiative was launched in 2002, with the vision of creating a unified channel management infrastructure in the whole Iberian Peninsula.

In 2003, the on-line store Aulasconsoftware.com was launched and the company implemented a new centralised logistic centre in Madrid for the whole Iberian Peninsula (Spain, Portugal and Andorra).

Since 2003, groupVision launched a private not for profit initiative in the health care sector - The Hospital of the Future Forum, that runs a series of annual events.

Since 2004, the company organizes a series of specialised conferences in the education sector, hosted in Madrid, Barcelona, Vigo and Oporto: Aulas con Software.

Since 2005, a specialized subsidiary groupVision Services was created to leverage the extensive experience that the company has in the creation of collaborative working environments for any type of public fora with groupware support. More
